Ok. Why bother with the expense of cutting up the stock fuel pump housing and buying parts to adatp in a walbro 450 or 255, and then have to install and aftermarket inline fuel filter when you can just buy a drop in pump that will make the power you're looking for?

I'm trying to help you make smart choices with this, but i guess one can only lead horse to water...

So you're using a shop that's making you spend money that you don't need to?

Sounds like a great place to go..

I just bought a kit, not a pump by itself. That being said, it came with a walbro pump and a new pick up screen/ filter that retains the factory set up. Also came with a hanger adapter that dosent require cutting up the factory one.

Fuel hose

So , the fuel line that connects the right and left side of the tank. The rubber hose that's in the tank, connected to the bottom of the fuel pump, and goes to the right side of the tank.
Did you guys upgrade or replace that when u switched to E85?
My kits all installed, car runs great. But I did notice when I installed the pump, that that bit of rubber hose was already slimy, like it was deteriorated already. And I'm sure E85 isn't doing that hose any favors.
Just wondering what everyone thought
