Random low oil pressure light followed by either p0011 or p0014
Hi all,
Just did an engine rebuild on my girlfriend's 2015 GSR. Initial engine break in went well and the car is being run on amsoil sae 30 break in oil. At about 110 miles on the engine a p0011 code showed up and the low oil pressure light. The car was immediately stopped and the oil checked. When the car was fired back up about 15 minutes later the oil light was gone and I had cleared the code. Later that day the same thing happened but with a p0014 code. Once again the car was immediately stopped and the light went away after a little bit of time. The oil doesn't seem to have any abnormal shavings or metal in it on the dipstick. The oil pump is new and an actual oil pressure gauge is being installed as of this evening along with a oil and filter change. Any help in the right direction of things to look for would be great. The car doesn't make any odd noises that a motor with low oil pressure would make but rather be safe than sorry on a fully forged shortblock.
