we think its bad now when people dont know how to race their evos and lose at track.. wait till this slow pos comes out, we'll here evo kill stories all day long, and sadly people will be too ignorant to seperate the 10 from others.

I think they should've kept the 4G63 in there. Other then that I think we should all wait till the aftermarket community really starts getting into the Evo X.

Maybe Mitsubishi will change it after the first year.

Single exhaust, have all the options come to America, up the displacement by 200cc or 400cc so it can gain a few more horsepower, make the back look better, get rid of the current antenna and get one like a bmw antenna, not use an engine block that was engineered with chrysler and hyundai,

Making the 2.0 4b11t engine 350hp would make the engine less reliable and would lead to more warranty claims. also you are already getting 150hp per liter, which isn't bad at all for a car under $40,000

How I will accept a car called Evolution focused in pure performance that went in the 0-100mph mark from 12,6sec to 13,8sec????

Great idea...........if you can accept the poor ergonomics, horrid interior materials, tin-can chassis and filling the tank every other day.
The VI was a wonderful single purpose car. In today's age a car and car company need to be more things to more people in order to keep their doors open.

Transforming an Evo in an everyday lux. car is the same as transforming a CBR1000RR in a GoldWing.

I have an engineering degree But it's in electrical and electronics engineering. So i know basically as much as most of these people on the boards do about mechanical design of automobiles, which is very little compared to mitsu's real engineers.

However, i do have key insight when it comes to launching new products. What my employers look for, what the customer wants, as well as keeping price down. It's easy to put things on paper, but much of the list gets crossed out due to cost and staying competitive in the market. People are always shooting down my ideas, for good reason, which is to be practical and realistic with my designs.

Mitsubishi would love to put out a better EVO. But they are still having trouble keeping their heads above water financially. Last i heard they finally broke into the black last year. I don't know how they are doing now.

Maybe you should change the title of this thread, to "how i would design a special limited edition EVO...."

Understand......mitsu swayed from it's roots with this car (which i'm not saying is a bad thing), but understand there will always be criticizm with change.......

And the cost of the car has NOTHING to do with any of this. If you read the original post.......cost was not mentioned.
