SCI magazine Review
Wow, he really doesn't like the Dual clutch system. I was kind of looking forward to it. If I am not mistaken though, you can manually select what gear you want at anytime right?
"The fact is, car companies inevitably pitch semi-autos as “sporty” precisely because that’s what they aren’t; no matter what the selector is made of or how many F1 cars use them, street-machine paddle-shifters don’t exist to enhance driving pleasure. They exist to sell cars to the ever-increasing millions who won’t (or can’t) deal with a clutch."
I think this sums up how I feel about paddle-shifters.
That's not to say I think they're inferior, they're just not for me.
Great article. I can't wait to test-drive the new X!

he also drives a BIG truck.
I found it to be very refreshing, he seems to be an enthusiast, slightly opinionated on the automated tranny, yet fair in his assesment of how the X stacks against the outgoing car.

Evo 9 fanboys, how many more articles do you need to read before you accept the fact that the X is the all around better car. I mean look, the 9 is badass, but it's ugly, in a boy racer kind of way (so is my sti, so take no offense), and has no level of refinement. The new car may be heavier because of the chassis and beefier AWD system, but isn't that a worthwhile tradeoff for the improved handling performance, more "sports car" looks, and higher overall level of build quality and refinement?
