No one can understand you. I don't even know why you are still on this forum. Obviously you are not going to buy an X or care much for it so why the hell are you still here talking about it? Get over it you *****ing about it being slow will not make Mitsu suddenly go "highbredcloud thinks our car is bad lets redesign it". Don't like it don't buy it, this is an Evo enthusiasts board not an Evo X haters board so don't let the door hit you where the doorknob should have bit you.
And you know what when I see a Corvette on the road I don't even turn my head when it goes by. When I see an Evo I usually try to take a peek and see what was done to it.

you just keep going off random jiberish...go back to school...YOU ARE A TEENY BOPPER...get away from me...I swear after reading your posts it makes me feel stupid that I wasted my time with a reply...
i hate car salesmen...doesn't matter who they work for...i know about the car and what i want b4 i even step on the lot....why do i need their help?....salesmen don't sell cars...the cars sell themselves....basically the salesmen are just there to rip people off by charging too much...bottom line
As far as buying another car from Mitsubishi, if they had a WW IX RS I would buy one in a second. When you buy a car or an Evo from Mitsubishi, you should know 2 things.
1. Mitsubishi makes a good product for the price. Especially so with the Evolution.
2. MMNA has an ongoing bad reputation for their service and customer satisfaction. It is a corporate problem that extends all the way down to their security guards. It's not by accident either, since it's pretty much nation wide and the story is the same, from the CEO to the Security Guards. None of them know how to treat a customer.

These guys just dont get that we are the buyers, that Mitsu needs buyers and that the EVO VIII and EVO IX was a great start...why ***** it up by making a crappy car, but oh wait....i shouldnt listen to myself or all the car mags thats been also talking sh*t on the EVO X....
Hey, highbredcloud! How are you? I work for Mitsubishi and I wanted to thank you for buying one of our vehicles! I am sad to hear that you do not care for our company or history. This may come as a surprise to someone with such a high regard for yourself as you display, but Mitsubishi cares even less about you than you care about us.

is not listening to what highbredcloud has to say...well I hate to say this no actually I don't...It made my day...I TOLD YOU SO TEENY BOPPER...NANANANANA! hahahaha...On a serious note...Hello...kmxxbadboy! Who do you take me for? I know that
doesn't care about the customer...(its a company in business to make money just like any other company)...Especailly the enthusiasts who made the eVo to what it is today so why should I care for
? As this is shown by
thanks to the kick in the ***** design of the new X...to the enthusiasts in particular...Who am I to you? Let me tell you...I am the most important person...why? Because I am the CUSTOMER...without me (the customer) you sir would not have a job...I am THE MOST IMPORTANT and THE REASON why
stays in business...I have the power because I have the money...and I am willing to spend it elsewhere if I don't get what I want...This is the good ol' American way...and if
fails to recoginze that...maybe the American market is not for them...I am not a brand loyal person what so ever...So what can
do to keep me as the customer...? What are they willing to do? NOTHING??? Give me a reason to stay...not a reason to leave...Mitsubishi has produced the Lancer Evolution for seven generations, prior to hitting American soil, without a hitch. By assuming that Mitsubishi needs the American Lancer Evolution market to stay a solvent company is the biggest display of what your post reeks of: the air of entitlement and arrogance.
want a bigger piece of the pie? $$$ comes to mind...and I am willing to bet that the American market contributes a nice chunk to the overall
assets you mentioned in your previous post...
I never stated that it all applies to the eVo...,HOWEVER, the eVo plays an important role since as of now the eVo name is striclty riding on its reputation by last generation eVo's...and because of its reputation seems that
wants to make the car mainstream...so that everyone as you stated can drive one...regardless if they can't drive a stick shift...now thanks to the SST they can...more women drivers...etc...etc...In short the X will attract everyone but the enthusiasts which contributed to the eVo's reputation and success...In short we got the big FU from
I will buy...as I stated before...I am not brand loyal...I like specific models...not the manufacturer...so again...how can
keep me as the customer? Certainly not by designing a car that every *** hole on the street will be able to drive...I want something...well...less mainstream...
and if
can't deliver...I'm taking my green to someone that can...that is the beauty of competition in a capilasit economy...Regardless how you feel about the new Lancer Evolution X, statistically for every disgruntled customer, like you, there are six others willing to take your place in line to get into the Lancer Evolution X. People will pay for that which previously was unavailable to them. Look at how fast the original allotment of 2003 Evo VIII's sold. Now imagine all those people who couldn't drive manual transmission or couldn't afford it then. They had to settle for something else at that time. It's now five years later and that means trade-in time. That person who couldn't drive manual transmission now has the option of getting into the Evo X TC-SST. That kid who didn't have the credit or income to afford the Evo VIII who now has a better job and stability can get into the Evo X. Let's not forget the throngs of adolescents who con their parents into co-signing for a loan. And let's definitely not forget the people who liked the performance numbers of the Lancer Evolution but when they sat in it, realized they had more creature comforts in their Hyundai Sonata. All of these people would gladly replace you as a potential Evo X buyer and they will be salivating at the mouth to get into one.
plan all along with the eVo X...So what exactly happend with the history and tradition of
you so proudly speak of? They basterdize a piece of history to sell previous eVo's reputation in terms of higher profits...
Here is what I don't understand...Please explain this to me...what makes
think it can compete in the same class as the Benz...BMW...Audi...etc...? Do you honestly think that people who can afford those cars will ever walk into a
dealership? The eVo used to be a best bang for the buck type of a machine...But now with a price tag guesstimates we see on this forums...puts it with in the boundries of higher status quo vehicles as the ones mentioned above...NOW...I understand that people were complaining about lack of this or that...and I understand that all the extras add up...To still keep the eVo spirit...why change the design so that it appeals to an older demographic whom buy the car to feel "young"...Why not at least throw in extra power to off set the weight of the added goodies people complained about before...doncha think that would put an eVo on list of those who currently are not in favor of the X since looks are subjective? Why not give a reason for all the VIII/IX owners to go and trade in their eVo's for the new X? We didn't get anything back except an FU from
Not even thanks for making a good reputation that will help us sell a red headed basterd-child of the eVo...What I further don't understand is the future release of the Lancer Ralliart...why not target that car for the demographic to compete with the vast majority and leave the eVo to the enthusiasts...?
Lets look back in history and see what actually works and what does not...First example...the Mustang...its been around since 1964 1/2 and still keeps going strong...Granted...it could be due to a lot of V6 sales that makes the Mustang still an American Icon...BUT it has never once not been considred a Muscel car after its first production...there were always availability in trim...such as GT or Cobra...for the enthusiasts...in fact it changed from a car that was inteneded for women/daily driver to an enthusiast machine...even its competitor the Camaro keeps getting better and better FOR THE MOST PART (excluding the gas crisis period) with a new gen...even though GM suffered finencial crisis and simply couldn't compete with the sales of the Mustang...after briefly discontinuing the Camaro it WILL resurface as a bad *** competitor...
Lets see where
went wrong...Remember the eclipse? Where is it now? enough said...its seems as the eVo is following the same path...Until
figure out where they belong in the food chain...they are not going to be successful here in the USA...you can't make a vehicle that pleases everyone and still be successful...its just that simple...
These people are not represented by the population of this bulletin board. They have neither the time or desire to come onto a forum to learn how to blow up their engines, void their warranties or deal with the likes of you. But I don't blame you for your opinion. You are jaded by owning a Lancer Evolution IX, being a member of this forum and by having so many choices available to you. Your choice of the words 'FU A-hole' are typical of a yabanjin American, but as you state and so clearly display, the morals of this country are on the decrease. In retrospect, I would rather see you not get the Evo X and trade the Evo IX for another Mustang that you so cherish.
before the name dies or goes to shame...My choice of words is very typical and examplifies the AMERICAN mentality...now build a car around those words and still keep me as a CUSTOMER...if you can...than
is doing something right...
BTW I'll ask my GF what that word means...I have no time for it now and my time is very precious...even if it is responding to pointless threads on eVo M...
PS...I know you are sadden to hear this but I will not be trading in the IX for the X...even if the IX and X came out in the same time...and me not being brand loyal to any manufacturer type of customer...I would still pick the IX because it appeals to me more...if I decide to trade in my IX it will be for the new "super snake" that will be coming out...
Destroying the competition that cost twice as much is priceless...That used to apply the to eVo...but you guys had to kill it didn't you...?lol...Someone brought up a great point about their local Mitsubishi dealer going out of business. We've recently pulled the plug on all non-hacking dealers. Don't think that has anything to do with Mitsubishi's solvency here in the U.S. You don't play a football game with your 3rd string team and on the same token, Mitsubishi won't put their best foot forward by keeping a dealership that can't stick with the program. So as you kneel by your bed tonight and pray to God for Mitsubishi's downfall, I'll be tallying up how many Lancer Evolution pre-orders are being processed by our over 500 dealerships nationwide from people that have put their 'green' where their mouths are that have better things to do than tap on a keyboard and rant about what they 'deserve'.
I'll quote Clint Eastwood from 'Unforgiven' : Deserves got nothing to do with it.

will do...history likes to repeat itself...
may come out a winner in the end but will lose its flagship baby in doing so...Thank God there's a Subaru dealer down the street...at least they stick to the basics...and know their role in the market...
