Who else is not buying another car from Mitsubishi

You are wrong ... You are the perfect example the reason why the evo got down rated in the USA as a "ricer" or "boy racer".
And if everybody would be like you, then any car manufacturer who had customers like you would be going out of buisness.
The X will be a great broom to clean out the dirt.
And stop loving yourself too much. If you need that much love go get a girlfriend, it helps you, beleive it or not. And instead of looking for alternatives for other cars /which is great from my point of view and for most of us/. Time to start looking for a psychologist before it gets worst.

ALL THIS TALK of the evo X being an embarrassment to the breed is really annoying. they said the same thing about the ct9a platform where the pre-viii evos were available. mitsubishi isn't forgetting its roots. there will be evo rally cars competing with STI's just as always. development will take some time just as with any new platform. the car is heavier thanks to our nanny safety regulations. the car is likely de-tuned so they don't get flooded with warranty claims. they tried to make the interior nicer because all the reviews said it sucked. they also upped the ante with optional equipment expected of cars in the price range. they kept the jdm engine in it instead of a usdm-only engine like subaru because they know we'd *****. they kept all the fancy, expensive, heavy diffs because they knew we'd ***** like we did with the previous lineup. they basically gave us everything we wanted...but in STOCK FORM it's a tad slower than the highly developed ix. to make a car that even comes CLOSE to the ix, the pinnacle of the venerable 4g63 in all its pre-safety and pre-emissions glory, given the added safety, creature comforts, and emissions regs, is honestly amazing. just think of what the xi and xii will be like! so maybe you like the x, and maybe you don't, but don't act like the x is a poser like the 00+ eclipse. that was a REAL shame. if they were no longer homologating the x for rally you would have a point. but they are, so it's just as credible as a street-bound rally car as the ix ever was, so quit acting like mitsubishi just shot your dog and get over it...

Yes I do have an Evo and will never trade it in for some crappy EVO X

There is nothing wrong with the EVO IIIV and IX US Spec, but there is something wrong with the Mitsubishi dealers an their mind set.....

Yeah its very simple to say that the IX was over engineered for its time...With that said it doesn't mean that I need to mod a new X just to get it where the IX was in stock form...if over-engineered the IX than they have to up the ante with the X as well to avoid people like me on their throat...don't you think?
