EVO X in relation to the new RALLI ART Lancer!?
Your rationale is solid, buy dealers never relied on the Evo before to sell Lancers...why would they need to now? The whole "time to rally event" is a bunch of marketing BS. It's actually quite silly since the overwhelming majority of the US population (more than 99%) don't even know there is a type of racing called rally

yeah people don't know what rallying is but a few short clips of the car in race prep doing some fancy jumps and slides and people will see the car as sporty and "tough". people are sheep, they don't know any better...
the point is that most dealers would want to have a flashy car outside on those sunday afternoons to draw eyes. all dealers may not want to carry said car, but if you can why wouldn't you? who here hasn't been to a dealer just to look at some cool new cars you can't afford but end up looking at some you can? perhaps you even bought one later on?
blah, blah, man, nasioc has a better thread than this,

Just soem new info:
Key Points:
- 236-horsepower (a detuned version of the Evo's turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine).
- Six-speed twin-clutch SST transmission.
- Full-time four-wheel drive (including AYC and ACD).
According to Mitsubishi (direct source at not indicated) there will also be:
- Recaro front seats
- Sport steering wheel with paddle shifters
- Rain-sensing wipers
- Xenon headlamps with washers.
To me, the Ralliart sounds like a great alternative to the Evo X... lots of details are still unknown of course (price, release date and so on).
