i was checking out 2008 lancer evolution insider page from mitsubishicars.com
and looking at the gallery...
look at this pic:
http://www.mitsubishicars.com/MMNA/e...gimg.en-us.jpg
http://www.mitsubishicars.com/MMNA/e...gimg.en-us.jpg

tell me my eyes aren't sideways because it looks to me they have two different kinds of tires on each side. is there something about tires i dunno? that they put different ones?
i hope it doesn't come to the dealers like that.

just thought i'd let you all know.

Yeah, be careful when you ask any questions on here about the X. The X pros will eat you alive as they already know everything there is to know about the X, and without even driving it, too.

Maybe the different tires help the X pull .99g skidpad ...

Seriously though, it is weird that the pics do show two different tires. But, they surely won't arrive at the dealership like that.

The reason the X has two different tires is becasue they were taking photos of the X with two different wheels I don't remember if it was RS/GSR or GSR/MR, for a...Magazine.

Never claimed to know everything about anything... oh except for chemistry.

It's become too easy for a lot of the regular posters to rip into the new guys when they post something about the X, new or otherwise. As the common retort has become, "search noob!" I know a lot of people don't search before they post things, but this forum would be pretty dead if guys like this didn't post. Besides, what would the search contents for this be? "Two different kinds of treads on the tires of the Evo X??" A little ridiculous, perhaps.

I mean, come on, new things are not released about the X every day, and some people at least want to try to start a meaningful conversation. Cut them a little slack, that's all I'm sayin'.
