you have the fq-320 which i'm sure is a bad car no doubt... but you paid extra for a car that had some mods done to it and made it faster... nothing wrong with that... BUT what is the difference of you buying one of those and someone buying a new GSR X and adding some mods to it? For 500.00 extra you can tune it and have it running high 12's. I would say that's pretty good for just 500.00 and all that added weight AND the fact that it has shown it can hold the road just as well as a IX if not better even with that weight is also good. Oh... and it's also a MUCH safer car than the previous years which is my main reason for wanting to get one... I like the look of them as well. I own a IX and I love it.. so don't get me wrong i'm just putting out there things to consider when talking about the new X.

Its an old review with speculations. Much of the info is already known or now confirmed. Why bump it ... does it really need to be discussed further? Maybe we should bump some of the threads where people discuss the leaked info about the Concept X ...

basically there's plenty of newer info to talk about ... and in general necro-bumping is just a no no ... some boards will warn/ban you for it lol.

 

I've watched the 9 and X do battles on japanese tracks, the X beat the 9 and I've also seen the MR beat the GSR and vice versa. I'm not saying the X is better than the 9, however it does pull the same 0-60 numbers but tappers off in the quarter mile. You guys seriously need to get a grip, the added weight is to help save your stupid a**'s when you wrap it around a telephone poll so the general public can see what a real bad a** you are!

The 9 has evolved to the 10, life goes on and it's just as capable as the previous gen EVO's!!! The X has better "more lavish" features such as; navigation, cruise, climate control, bluetooth, 7 air bags, a.y.c, stronger frame, bigger rotors, 18 inch rims and the list goes on! The car is new from the ground up and it's struggling to find it's way, however the new Subaru WRX and STi are not new cars from the ground up, lets just be happy with the fact our cars aren't blowing up! All gen EVO's rock this is why we're here, from 1 to 10 they all offer something different for better and for worse (much like a marriage)! ALL HAIL THE MIGHTY EVO"S!!!

Ok so I've read this thread from start to end and honestly I'm loving everyones opinions. Now a few people were talking about looking at number and seeing how everyone feels a year from then.

WELL GUYS!!! 2012! It's been 4 years! What do you all think of the X same feelings? Or have you all changed your minds? Why or why not? I hope ya'll don't ignore this post :/

Personally I love the X with a passion. Everything about it. Then again I'm not really trying to do any major modding on it. At the same time the next thing I'm going to do it buy a IX I haven't too much experience with it but I understand when people talk about how much more raw it is then the X. Regardless I think both cars are amazing and both cars can do amazing things when put in the hands of the right people.
