Evo X Finally Out In Vancouver, Canada!
yea, that's quite a disappointment for me also, considering that the Canadian STi comes standard with HID projectors now
Does anyone know if the MR is supposed to be available with 5spd manual transmission? I was under the impression that it will only come with the DC-SST. The SST is the biggest reason why I don't want a MR. I want the features of the MR such as the HID and aero, but not the SST. So the way Mitsu has set up the trim levels in Canada is pretty stupid.
Regarding price, I think CA$41,495 MSRP for a EVO X GSR is not that bad in Canada, it's expected. Yea, there are other cars that are in that range, but really, 40k doesn't get you a lot. TSX is in that area. It's enough to get a WRX, but not a STi yet. An entry level luxury car. It's just the way the Canadian car market is. On the other hand, I think the EVO X MR Premium is way too expensive at CA$51,000. At that price, you really are competing with some decent cars.

Just got word that ALL MR's are canceled in Canada. The dealership i talk to said that all their orders were canceled and their having SST trauma, we canadians wont see the MR for another year
Usually what happens when a dealership orders a car, they'll get ALL of the car numbers before it arrives, no one recieved their MR numbers, if the dealership calls they'll get the "oh? you didn't hear? we're having problems with the transmition, even if we fix it tommorow, no one's going to see their MR's for ATLEAST half a year."

So not true. Mine is comming in march. We just got a gsr in saskatoon saskatchewan canada. I went to the dealer to look at it adn wow the seats are amazing!
Its becuase of the problems their having. My guy wouldnt say exactly what, but he did mention the transmition. It makes me mad too that the only evo we'll get this year is the MOST plain jane evo ever made. No options at all
Edit to reddragon : same thing my dealership said to me, but they just got word of the MR BS. Its not like i made this up, i'm just repeating what i got told from my guy at the dealer.
