I have no update regarding MR models in Canada, but I did speak with a senior executive at the dealership who confirmed that the Evo X's have not been released for public sale by Mitsubishi Canada yet. Basically, most of the Canadian Mitsubishi dealers have received just one car for display purposes. This is part of a nationwide promotional campaign that will begin with, and is centered around the 2008 Canadian International Auto Show taking place in Toronto from Feb. 15-24. The dealerships are required to have at least one Evo X on display during this promotion. The dealerships will be receiving more Evo X's this month, and should be releasing cars to customers after the show ends on the 24th. So at this moment, there should be no Evo X's being driven in Canada by retail customers.

MR! Ouch! Could be a long wait! I'm not sure what to believe regarding MR availability, but considering that the MR's aren't on the street in the US either, I wouldn't expect it anytime soon. If it makes you feel better, most EVO X buyers I know are also waiting for the MR, so you have plenty of company!

I checked out the white one at Dixie Mitsu last nite. So much hotter in person. Going out to Pickering Mitsu today. They have a black one and a blue one outside.
I'm a little annoyed about the fact that dealers have cars and aren't releasing them. Ad campaign or not, we've already waited long enough. Give us our bloody cars already!

Well yeah. But regardless of that, even if you do manage to remove the piece do you want to be driving around with half a bumper? Point i'm making is, even if you remove the piece its going to look awfully odd and nothing like the US version.
Hi there, I went to the mitsubishi dealer today and they've got a red and black gsr 2 days ago. They sold the red one today and the guy who buy it will take possession on monday. So there's no waiting here. They will received a blue gsr and white MR in 10 days. A black MR Premium is due at the begining of March.

But I will keep an eyes on it. If they have it here you should have it to on you side.
