i had the antenna of an S2000 on my evo 8, wonder if that'll work...?

 

I always wanted to try that on my VIII but i bought the JDM shorty instead. They appear to be identical. When i got my GTS i tried putting the JDM shorty on it and it threaded on, but bottomed out before meeting the mount base. Leaving a .5" gap between the base and the bottom of the shorty.

 

anttena from s2000 fits previous evos.
