Question Evo X factory HID?

Anyone knows what's the wattage of the ballast and color temp of X's HID? IDK coz it looks brighter than 8's and 9's HID.

They use a 35 watt ballast. All OEM to USA or Canada use 4100-4300K stock bulbs. Differences in colors on the cutoffs are mostly due to the prismatic affect of the projector rather than bulb color.

All of the OEM bulbs when new are about 4200K After 50-100 hours of run time (burn in) they color shift up to about 4800K or so.

I don't think they are brighter, but they are aimed a little higher. In my VIII, full up would not blind traffic, it will in this car. I moved the HIDs up in my VIII and it was a lot better.

My rule of thumb is to set them where people stop flashing you, but you can still see really well. There's a fine line, but its great when you find it.
