I believe the one you saw is from Best Motoring, which is from Japan. Evo RS is only available in Japan as of now.

An RS wouldn't make sense now that the Lancer RA is coming out. A fully loaded RA would be about 28-30k and an Evo RS at 30-32k?

One or the other would stifle one or the others sales.

i would be buy the X RS hatchback for sure!

but today i saw the detroit autoshow on espn. And there was the LAncer RA. 09...
with the MR tranny - X engine/ 235 hp though/ and possibly simular the IX awd system , cost $25 K...
so if you stripp that down + coilovers + tune + etc untill you get the $35K mark., to equal out to the X. and start the project from there on vs X.
I think it will be a good option for some.

yeahh i talked to several dealers and

they said they wont be making the rs in the USA.

granted the car being expensive already and the cheapest package evo x
is like 33,000 they dont really want to sell the car for any lower i guess its like a waste of time?

so as of now

its the

Non SSS package with the smaller spoiler

the SSS package with the taller spoiler

and the MR whenever that one comes out.

but who knows? maybe they make the rs couple years later or something?

Dealers don't know anything. The RS has been here before. I speculate that it's only a matter of time.

Yeah I agree ... wouldn't make sense to make a RS at this point.
