True but.. dont forget only 10% maybe 20% of the Evo owner read this forum.
My guess is only 20% of the Evo owner mod their car. 80% keep them stock.

I got the letter in the mail today also. I tried to call the warranty number on the card but it was too late to talk to someone. I double checked my warranty book and it shows the 3 year 36k there. Its probably just a mistake. Im guessing that its just a generic letter that they use because ALL of their other cars have the 5 year 60k warranty. They probably just plug in your name and the car name...

Guys... I got the same letter... It counts. Don't throw the letter away. In fact, I bought the car because of the letter.

KEEP THE LETTER......

On that peace of paper it has my name address
dated, and Hiroshi Harunari signature.
It clearly state 2008 lancer evolution, not galant, not lancer.
My vin number . plus they give you a ID# to register for this program.

I think with all this info, and paper as proof. Mitsu might have a lawsuit on hand if they dont honor this program, after I took time to register and everything on their web site using the ID# they gave me.

Wait a minute... so the letter says that you have to "register for the program"? My very first question would be what does this program cost... there are usually no free lunches in this world
