For those wanting another option for a ClearBra/VentureSheild and are patient . . . .you can do it yourself

http://www.invisiblemask.com

They offer a lifetime warranty as well. I have only had my new Evo for 3 days but my order has been submitted. I have installed 2 full kits of this stuff and they work absolutely great. 1 on my 2008 Nismo 350z and the other on my father's 2007 C4S Cabriolet. Big pieces need the help of a 2nd person but by the looks of these patterns, I'd say 1 person can do the whole job pretty easily. I will do a write up after mine gets here and I can install it.

This is what I ordered (you can get more if you want):

Headlights/Foglights/Front Bumper/half hood/Mirrors/side skirts/install kit/door edge kit and shipping for under $400

Use 10OFF for a 10% Discount

(Take the Side Skirts off and price shipped would be under $300)

I may have to resort to decalfx paint protector.
He is an idiot then, and doesn't know how to work his part system, those numbers supersede to multiple numbers so the pieces could be ordered individually if needed.

just washed my car yesterday and this has gotten much worse. it looks as if i didn't even wash my car. All the little sratches and niches are getting out of hand. Think mitsu would warranty it if my black car turns white? Geez i only had the car for a little over 12 months and i only have 9800 miles on the car. I even got the oem mud flaps with no avail!

Mitsu finally agreed to fix my paint issue and put the protective film on as well! Waiting for the dealer to schedule it in for that and a couple other issues.

they fixed the issue on my gts by repainting it, but refused to put the film on. 6 months later it looks just as bad if not worse. I have a guy that works at my buddies audio shop that does vinyl and we are working out a kit to cover the door part of the side skirt of the GTS and up along the wheel well. Ill post pics when we get the finished product done. If anyone would be interested in possibly having these made for the evo pm me.

I have had my complaint at the dealer since Jan 09. And after a long run around, i got denied in May (i think) an shortly there after (within a week) they released the film to protect the area. Had my clutch replaced and had to take the car back because they didn't tighten the drain plug plus a seal in the tranny is now leaking. After calling Mitsu to complain about the leak they had a District manager get ahold of me the next day and he had me go back to the dealer fo pics and the following day (today) he informed me they are going to do a one time customer satisfaction repair.
PM if you need anymore details that might help.

The paint is always going to be cheap on these things which is unfortunate. I plan on keeping my car for a while as long as my money situation doesn't get any worse and later on down the road i'll get it repainted and look into spraying a super hard clear coat on as well.

i am trying to see if they will give me the 2010 skirts.

when i bought this car new back in april i remember seeing about 5 chips on each side so i immediately bought the mudflaps. it seems the mudflaps could have done its job but not 100% cuz it looks really bad and oh my car only has 4100 miles.

yeah I have like 4500 on mine... I have the rally armor mudflaps and they have done well for behind the front and rear wheels, BUT in front of the rears I still have quite a few chips.

got my car in Sept. and in Jan. it was wasted by salt and gravel. My mudflaps might have helped but I can't see how by looking at it. I actually have a pic where all the snow had accumulated under the skirts directly below where all my chips are and now where else.

Make sure that before the winter you put a few layers of sealant on it so you don't get any rust starting there.
