I thought is USDMers had it bad with all the lacking options from the JDM version, but it seems like you guys have it worst up there! A 10,000 added price plus no SSS and only aero if you're lucky! That sux!

Grats on the car man! I'm pretty sure someone got fired at the kelowna dealership when they gave me my evo x a month ago and for under mrsp , it's unfortinate they're using that excuse to hold the car back from their owners

Pics!

OK! Seems like even though I didn't bother to post pics cuz the Canadian car looks pretty much the same as the US car, people still want pics! So went for quick photo shoot tonight.

First shot:

The stock halogen head lights are SO WEAK!

Thank you Mitsubishi Canada for NOT offering the HID projectors as an option for GSR owners!

So it was too cold and windy, so we changed locations:

I took over 100 pics, and realized after that at least 2/3 of the pics were all front quarter angle pictures. The Evo X just doesn't seem to have many angles that are photogenic. Should be much better with wheels and lowering though.

Anyways, here's a detail of the rear quarter, and you can see the rear bumper add-on that the Canadian Evo X's get:

Another rear quarter angle shot:

Road kill angle!

Here's pics of the parts I mentioned above.

T1R Short Antenna:

And the T1R T182R Titanium Shift Knob:

Yep, no mark up. I don't know what the dealer is doing for new customers though.

I don't think there's any major difference in features. We get the ugly rear bumper add-on, that's about it I think.

hey! nice to see another Canadian Evo owner on here! I haven't met anyone else in Vancouver with the car yet, although I know there's two or three other cars on the road here already.

LOL on the cross border shopping! People will think you have an MR in Canada!

There's some pretty decent aftermarket aero kits coming for the Evo X though, so not having the optional aero kit isn't such a big deal to me. Really don't like the GTS wing that the car came with though.

Anyways, post pics of mods when you can!
Yea... the MR wait continues... for both Canada and the USA!

I actually know four people who are waiting for MR's... it seems that a lot of the people at the top of the Evo X waiting list are waiting for MR's, so it seems the GSR's don't have much of a waiting list at all here.

ahhh cool thanks for the heads up i will call them first to see how much they are asking for, for those canadians out there, a mitsubishi dealership in the us (buffalo) is charging something like $1800.00 US uninstalled for the aero kit

Congrats man! That car looks great from the front end. Its a travesty they dont offer the SSS package on the GSR here. They just want to sell more MR's, cause thats the only way to get it.

And that rear bumper really made me gag. Ahhhh!

Really liking the car and the shorty antenna. So will it not swing freely during hard braking and hit the roof now?
