haha, actually the car does attract a lot of attention! I am very surprised by that. I've been getting lots of people tailing me, driving beside me, and just staring at intersections. I guess a lot of people didn't realize the Evo is finally here? Last night I had some kids tailing me on No.3 Road in Richmond for three blocks!
Vancouver Evo meet sounds good, but I don't think there's any other owners on the board here yet! I think in Richmond, there's just me! haha
Give it another month or so. The dealers just got their second shipment of GSR's, so there should be more on the street soon.

Once MR arrives, we should see a lot more Evox
I haven't had a problem with the notchy transmition, from what i've read, people who break there cars in hard don't see this at all with the evo, and thats what i did. I didn't baby the car while breaking it in. Redlined it the first KM of driving and couldn't be happier 2000 KM's later.

i just hit 300km on my X and no big issues except the second and third gear feeling lil notchey. so far im loving the car and yes i get a lot of pple asking and staring at the X. im the first and only evoX owner here where i live.
ill take some daytime pics. when the weather gets better. the phantom black is diff. not a solid black. its more like dark grayish when sun or light hits it. and if you really look closer to the paint you'll notice sparkles.
Congrats, I was so hyped when I heard the evo was coming to Canada and was close to putting down a deposit. Just can justify paying 10k more for the same car when our dollar is worth more, terrible ripoff.
I think I'm going to go for patience and wait for next years MR in the hopes the price evens out and mods start to appear for the MR.

Have you seen the Voltex kit? I think it's pretty subtle. Here's the thread and a pic:
