wondering if anybody has done an oil change on the evo x yet? is the oil filter the same as the evo 8 and 9? im only asking this because i work at a honda dealership and used honda oil filters since they were the same as an evo 8/9 filter. so i was wondering if the new filters for this motor are the same as an 8/9 filter. thanks

sheeesh i work for dodge and use a mopar filter on the evo.

 

dodge and mitsu share some of the same things anywho. Think of them as college roomates. Honda and mitsu are more like neighbors that really dont like each other and shovel snow onto the others sidewalk just for spite.
Im sure i could come up with a better metaphor but st. patty's day was yesterday so yea....

 

I have changed my oil and the filter looks similar to the 9. But I use factory one. Is there a price difference in using other manufacturers shizzle? That just sounds wierd as to anyone using other car branded parts.

 

the 10 uses the same filter as the 9. I went to pick some up at Southcoast and they cross-referenced the same filter.
