Going over bumps, display flicker/error.

Starting yesterday I noticed something weird with the red digital display between the two gauges when I was going over bumps. It would have some sort of error/flicker. I'm not sure what it says as my eyes don't necessarily belong there when driving, but I believe it turns yellow from red. From a glance, it looks like the "STEERING WHEEL LOCK" error.

But anyway, anyone else?

Yeah, that may be what's popping up. I'll try to...uh, recreate it..

it's doing that because the outside air is 37 degrees, it always does it.

Its a traction limited warning. I've gotten this when going into a turn a little hot with ASC in normal mode.

Im with Noize on this one. Sounds like you are getting the traction screen. Another possibility is, if you have FAST keys, that your key is getting out of signal range, or something like that.

we already try that. the display say something like warning key or like that. nothing like what he described.
if you start the car and get out with the key actually i can drive the car away, with the warning display on. Its weird.

But the car will eventually shut down when the car stops somewhere.

if you were going over bumbs then it sound like you traction control came on for a split second. Also if it drops below 37 degree i beleive, it will show possibly icy road. hope this helps

Ok had something similiar to this happen to me this morning. I was pulling into a parking lot that had a ruff entry and a uphill incline and the digital display went to the yellow screen really quick and I could not see what it was saying. I know it was not traction becuase I was going slow as to not scratch the front lip of the car the only thing I think of was the low fuel indicator because I am running low on gas. But usually when the low fuel indicator comes on it dings also. Are you low on gas when this is happening?

That's definitely your traction control. Every day at work when I pull into the parking lot at work it comes on and cuts power. I've actually gotten into the habit of turning ASC off before I pull into the garage. It's not like I'm hauling either as I work downtown and pull in at 2 or 3 MPH.
