I never said you were imposing an opinion. I never said anything about facts. Oddly enough, this thead is pretty much devoid of facts of any kind (which it could definitely use some). I never said I don't accept your opinion. If you've seen any of my posts, I'm the first guy to say that we should always be open to hear both sides of the story. But, to tell the guy to "GTFO" because you don't agree with his opinion is simply trying to shut out one side of the story without having a full understanding of the situation that led him to his decision. He said he didn't like the car any longer because it wasn't fast enough for him. Your response is GTFO. Why? He wasn't wrong for what he believed. Could he have provided more detail? Sure...we would all love to hear more detail about specifically what he didn't like. We should all ask that question of the OP so we can understand. Understand him first, then we can all bash him if we feel the need or we may learn something from him (althought probably doubtful with this guy). But, without understanding I'm not sure why you're all fired up and arguing with him and telling him to GTFO.

 

I understand him. His new car got a scratch on it so, he decided that he now hated the car and it was ugly and that every other car is better than the X. His new car is no longer perfect, I mean someone mine as well f-ed his girlfriend. In his mind this is the only thing he can do to feel better. I feel sorry for him.

 

Yeah, that was a little silly. I never expected that twist in the story when I started reading the thread. The scratch was SO minor. Oh well. Wish I had money like that to throw around every time one of my cars gets a rock chip

Well, maybe I didn't mean the "GTFO" part like that. He sure is trying hard to convince people here though that their car isn't good. I personally would never do that on the 135i forums for example. I respect that car. Anyways, there is no side of his story to comprehend and understand like you said. He claims the EVO is slow and provides no evidence for it. statistics show that the EVO is not slow and in fact has nearly identical performance out of the dealer compared to the 135i. As I first stated and what was my original point is the same one that Scottatayamaha above just made...he got a dent and now hates the car so he will take it out on the car and everyone who owns it. Not cool really.

 

What was this thread about? Oh yea, the OP is afraid of his neighbour and instead of dealing with it like a man, he choices to start this thread and take it out on the X.

as far as proving it is not as fast as the competitors cars. i posted links to severall videos made by professionals. pointing out exactly what i said its on the 4th page. i know you ave already seen all the videos anyways since your a die hard evo fan ? its my choice to dislike this car i bought i drove and well i dont like it. i think my 8 was a much better car and well the 135 i is a better car then the x. opinions are like an *** hole everyone has one and they all stink im not bashing anyone for saying the x is a better car. im saying i think it is nothing it used to be maybe one day they will go back to the original purpose a bad *** rally car not a wanna be luxury car with a tl type s body with slow performance. when you creat a new version of anything be it a movie a food a car or a house it is supposed to be better than the previous model. and well i think its funny the x got beat by a stock 9 on one of the best motoring videos its like having a son and making him wear womens clothes when you and him both know he is not a woman. face it the x has had mediocre ratings compared to 9 and even the old and current sti.

 

The nine beats the X but not by much. This is already a known fact. Specially with our tune. Doesn't really bother anyone. It isn't much. Like someone said. This isn't the comparison anyone is making here so I don't know why you change the subject like that and start talking about the 9 vs 10. I have seen all those videos and none of them have the 135i in them. I think the 9, 10, and the STI will walk the 135i on the circuit track. If you like the car than there is one thing left, enjoy it...but don't do this again to 135i owners when you get a small dent on your 135i for crying out loud.

yeah the guys here are little girls... i just roved my point and he helped what is the reason to upgrade if the previous model is beeter stats then the fresh new release ? also i have been considering getting a dif before the mishap with the neighbor. plenty of poeple will contest that i have talked to. i still own my x so i can say whatever the **** i want about it dont get but hurt becouse the truth is the new x doesnt stand on a pedastool like its older brothers 8 and 9 just my 2 cents

 

if you got the 135 with all those options and paid 35kOTD, you must be a magician.. i have looked through the various 135 forums and the best deal people are getting (especially considering that the car is still BRAND BRAND NEW, as in people barely started picking up their orders early this month) is $500 less than MSRP. I'm not calling you a liar, because if that is the deal you got, let me know how you did it. Both cars are sick either way..

its called make them bring you the invoice then see how long the car has sat at their lot after you see what they paid for it its kind of hard for them to justify selling it for 10 k more its hustling its hard but 4 hours later you win big time
