I wouldn't. Don't really like used cars to much personally...a new M3 I would ofcourse. I wouldn't trade my X for a new cts-v ever. Cadillacs depreciate fast and despite their attempt to have class like BMW they actually have none and just look like a typical buick...but meh...to each his own.

I meant the X mr.. not the X

I know everyone has their own take on the new auto twin clutch whatever tranny... but keep those in ferraris and maseratis and lambo's where it's actually worth it..... It's not fit for an evo what so ever.. I dont even care if its faster, I LOVE driving a standard and having 100% complete control of how that car goes from gear to gear. I don't and never will accept that technology on an evo or any car in it's price range. Watch, next corvettes will have it.

Then I now understand why older guys love their muscle cars... just like I'm staying devoted to the thrill and enjoyment of driving as opposed to just worrying about going around a track faster. Id much rather enjoy it.

Will the technology be faster? yes
Do I care? no, Im no professional race car driver.

Just my honest opinion

The technology does belong in the X, the EVO was bred for it's skills in the WRC. Manual shift is a thing of the past, you don't have any more control of the manual than you do the Tc-SST! So tell me, do you chop wood in the winter so you can control the heater too? We all now a heater doesn't belong in an EVO nor does cruise or the back seats (J/K)! Except the fact technology will replace your clutch pedal, embrace it while you can, it's crunch time for the manual transmission!

Manual transmission isn't going anywhere. People can claim it all they want. It is like people who claim that PC gaming is dieing...yea...they have been claiming that for a decade now

Maybe if Americans actually did chop wood for the heater they wouldn't be so damn fat.

^PC gaming has been dead. Ony few titles carry the market, majority would rather have a console.

Just because you and your nerd friends play computer games, doesn't mean the world does.

Just because you don't play computer games doesn't mean no one else does. I don't play wow but 6-8 million people play that game you silly goose . 2 million still play counter strike. 3 million are waiting for starcraft 2. PC gaming has always stuck around a few but true to their fans games. They don't cram garbage on the shelves and it is obviously not dead. Last I heard nerds were a part of this world Almost every game made for console and PC is better on the PC..funny really. Crysis is better than anything on the console to date. I know, facts sometimes hurt..but it is what it is. Manual isn't going anywhere either..there will always be people who will refuse to buy a AT car and for them there will always be a manual..you know why? because they are a costumer..and that is what businesses love. Look at the other thread about the AT/MT...most people went with the GSR mainly to get the manual.

Assuming that we will one day run out of fuel, gasoline engine will die, and so will manual transmission.
