Bride Seats and Airbag sensor?

Has anyone changed their factory seats? If so have you run into any issues with the airbag sensor?

Not yet on the X, but did swap my OEM's on the IX with no big issues, I surely hope it is safe to do the same on the X as I just sold my OEM seats and currently await the arrival of two carbon fiber seats.

IX's didnt have airbags in the seats

The STi guys use a resistor in the plug and seem to thwart the code being set. If someone has a meter they can probably see the voltage amount going through the plug and get a resistor to match it

I guess my question is:
will the lack of an airbag on the seat throw an error code.

I think what some of the other members are saying is that if you put a resistor in the harness to trick the system, it should work fine. In theory, you will not have a airbag light on, and the other airbags should work just fine.
