beeping noise from my car?

I just got my evo last week and I'm wondering is it common to hear a beeping sound from your car? Its not like a beeping sound where it beeps then stops then beeps again its just continuous

it's your ejection seat.

ejection seat! LOL... that's great.

Check your flux capacitor also... make sure it's ... ummm... fluxing

Seriously... if you have the FAST system and the car is running and you get out of the car with the keys in your pocket for even a second it will freak out and start beeping at you.

Happens to me all the time when I stop to check the mail.

Having your key on you while walking away from your running car, does the car shut down when the keys have been away for a period of time?

I'm going to run like hell when that seat goes off...
