Your car purchase deal is one issue, your vehicle service difficulties are another.
The former I can't help you with but the latter I can.
First of all, there are some things you must do if you want to get your car fixed correctly.
Clearly your car has some problems but that is exactly what the new car warranty is for!
I’ve been an automotive tech for more than thirty years so let me speak frankly on this issue... Make sure you are fully understood and be sure to follow the proper procedures.

#1. Go to the dealer to get this car fixed, make sure everything that you are concerned about is documented on the repair order. If everything is not documented on the repair order, then it looks like there was never a concern. Does that make sense?

#2. Give them an ample opportunities to get it fixed. This may take more then one or two trips to get all your concerns addressed to your satisfaction. (I know this is a pain but this is what a consumer must do to have recourse via Lemon Law) Does this make sense?

#3. If they don’t get it fixed, complain to Mitsubishi Customer Service, and ask them to get the car fixed, put it in writing. Be absolutely precise about your recollection of the events, and responses to your requests. Keep good notes all the way through the process. Does this make sense?

If you have any questions regarding the above, let me know.

Now if after you have given the dealer ample opportunity to repair the car and you are still not satisfied. And you have given Mitsubishi ample opportunity to get your car fixed, and they have not. And you have everything documented, then seek legal advice.

Caution, to seek legal advise before you have given the new car warranty a chance to work is to “put the cart before the horse” so to speak, let alone potentially expensive. Your best bet is to give the warranty process a full opportunity to get you satisfied!!!

You may want to do a little research of your own into your state’s Lemon Law.
Many states have there own legislation and the rules vary from one state to another.
Also there is the federal Lemon Law which you can use as well. I believe it is called “Magnusson Moss” and lastly, there are the “breach of warranty” claims that you can bring against the manufacturer.

So there are many legal courses you can take but none will be affective if you have not followed the process through.

I wish you the best luck at getting your issues resolved!
