Stupid Question but does the factory antenna just unscrew out? I've tried unscrewing it but it just seems to turn in place. Am I just an R-tard?

You're just an R-tard.

Just playing, but yeah, unscrews out...remember, counter-clockwise!

yes I know you don't have to reiterate that fact

I guess I'll hop on ebay for a shorty antenna...There's a pretty sweet "shark" type antenna like the BMWs have but it goes for like $72 shipped on ebay. I think I'll just spend the $10-$15 bux and call it a day

Thats just the satellite radio. It has to have direct connection at all times. Anytimes you go under a tunnel, overpass, or even trees it will cut off.

I have the Perrin as well and there is definitely a gap. I'm going to give japanparts a shot and see how that looks. Right now its about 45USD shipped.

not true, the XM in my audi is great. Rarely cuts out, only if i go under a long bridge or a tunnel. I think it must have a buffer or something.

Can't go wrong with OEM, nice and flush . Radio reception quality is the same as the original so far.

It should be "JDM-OEM" because the store is in Japan and the package came from Japan. The prices are all in Yen too. The ordering process can seem pretty complicated, but not hard if you follow their payment instructions.

I want those JDM auto folding mirrors from there too, but no one knows how to install or if it'll work with North American Evo Xs yet .
