I went with a shark fin....paint and fit is great-recep sucks in tunnels, ect. But matches well and looks good, imo

look on ebay for 08 lancer specific ones. got one on my 08 and it looks perfect. not a single thing wrong with it. cost me like 25 bucks.

sorry....the pics I took of the rear of the car I havent used/edited yet-so they are crappy. I'll work on getting a better one (or check out vg shark fin attena's website).

i just cut off the thin piece of the antenna and i never had a bad reception. and i just sand out the top of it to make it smoother and for now i just took a black magic marker to coloured the top. heres some pics.

cool. oem antenna doesnt bother me much...in my opinion, gives the car more of a rally look. maybe one day ill get a shorty antenna.

i have one similar, i have the agency power one, had it on my 9 threw it on the x, theres a small gap at the bottom and its a little bigger than the base, i think itll look fine with apr's cf vg
