Rev Limiter not working
Anyway, you just bought a brand new car and there's an odd noise. I'd take it to the dealer as a precautionary measure to get it fixed under warranty (if there's anything to fix). Because once you start modding, there's no getting that fixed under warranty.

I believe you are talking about the two step. He is not actually hitting the two step cus he didnt push the clutch down with it being in first gear. Hence its revving high and slowly going back down because of the crappy drive by wire. The OP needs to do a search first.. Because I've done a two step and my rev limiter cuts off at about 7200 rpms.
