Even in the Top Gear, Hammond dressed like one, when he was testing the new M3

that was hilarious...
So its a same all around the world

Wow I love how they talking on the suby forums it's so funny! But another thing .. At least our cars are not on the top 10 ugliest car list! Plus they saying the X is a pig and if the suby had better tires it would be much faster

Is English your third language? I think YOUR talking is so funny. J/K

Listen guys, each camp has its own hang-ups. How hard is it to realize that? We all justify the money we spend and form enthusiast groups to do so. I have known hundreds of Subaru enthusiasts and tuners and everyone of them have had varying degrees of bigotry toward other car owners: ie, HONDA or DSM. Most, though, are good people, and have a good time focusing on their own cars.

I've owned nearly every brand of car, save BMW, so I go with the flow. If a car comes out, it kicks ***, and is a good value, I'll buy it. Right now it's the Ralliart. I joined this forum back in '03 when I purchased an '03 OZ Rally for my wife to auto-x in. That car was a great value. Great price, good mileage, decent torque, and a good chassis...

somehow these threads always ends up the same. subaru this subaru that. it's natural for people to defend their own cars that they own. and when i come to an evom board and i see stuff like "the car is ugly... blah blah... it cant handle... blah blah"... what should i think of an EVO owner driving by me when this is what i see?

pedals breaking off is an ignorant comment. but because the STi isn't as fast as the EVO around the track "it can't handle?" o k. . .

i personally think EVO owners are pretty smug themselves. basically, all owners of all other cars appear pretty smug to me. I get a smug look from older gen STi owners because i have a new one. it's always like that. even how EVOX ownders get crap from evoVIII and IX owners too.
all in all, i like both cars, but i am obligated to have some type of dislike towards the EVO simply because I own an STi.

but neway, Tires do make a difference. Yoko Advan > Dunlops.

Agreed...

I used to mod Hondas back in the mid-nineties. I kind of miss my Hondas...

nothing wrong with honda, i actually admire the performance etc. but some reason i cant stand the revving and tire burning attitude. probably that is why i cant get along with domestics too.
For me the Civic owner is not far from the mustang one.

of course there is people who are dont like that, so excuse me for this.

nope but that doesn't mean im dummy right?
Or it does?
All the test, excluding Japan /wich have a 2.0l /, make a clear statment about the STI handling. Regardless on Tire. It is understeer. You might make the car faster with better tires but the car attitude will not change.
Mean while the same drivers phrasing about how you dont feel the EVo awd system ... ANd works like the RWD. That is compliment or what?
