evo X better than IX?

well im looking for an EVO X for me...
i would like to asw few questions for those that own the car....

what should be the MAX POWER for the car, with everything stock... engine gearbox(manual), well i know the clutch isnt that strong... so just changing the clutch????

because obvious that i will mode it... but i really dont wanna change internals RODS,PISTONS , GEARBOX....

i know that the IX was very very strong lots of guys with 400hp with everything stock....

thank you very much!

People are easily making around 340whp on stock internals, we just have to wait and see if they hold up.

Yeah, the clutch seems to be holding up ok unless you are drag racing. In which case, you just need to swap it out for something a bit more heavy duty.

I'm not sure the exact drivetrain loss the evo has but just calculating for a 15% loss you are at about 390hp at the crank.

I'm sure the 9 guys have different opinions about 10s, so you're opening a nice can of worms here.

I'll just throw in that a 355whp 9 will not have a stock clutch for long when launched and driven aggressively.

People are saying that the 10s clutch is a weak point, and it might be, but in the end I'd have to say it probably isn't any weaker than the 9s clutch.

From what we've seen so far with tuners extracting lots of power from the 10, just as much if not more than the 9s. Plus, they've only begun to scratch the surface because the car is still pretty new. If the early results are any indicator, I think the 4B11T will be a great platform for future Evolutions.

search and choose...
I personally think as a DD or light mod car the X is a better car.
For track and hard core race the IX is a winner.
Couple reasons , on of the biggest is the after market support for the IX.
The second one is the knowledge behind the 4g63 and the CT9A chassis.
but we already see good results on track with the X. And it is not even a year old yet
SO i would say when you will get to the point when you will be at the door to be highly modified, you will be more then fine with the X too in hard core race.

IX SE --- IMO Best evo ever. end of story.

It has to be tarmac black if you want the absolute fastest model of course.
