Paint Chipping: Aero Kit/Mudflaps/3M/Deal with it
mudflaps+3M on rear doors
I had the mudflaps on the car within the first week/300mi. Everything seemed fine until I washed the car at about 800mi. Even with the mudflaps on, I could see small scuffs forming on the rear rocker/door area. I wasn't planning nor felt that I would need the rear 3M but you need it even if you have mudflaps.
I don't have the aero package and the roads here don't have excessive gravel on them.

I've purchased a GSR just over a month ago with the aero kit and will know in another month or two after driving in winter if it saved it from the salt on the road chipping the rear door. So far when i wash it off cant see anything yet. (only 1300 miles so far)
doesn't look too bad actually. i kinda like it.
on another note...i noticed i got my first chip on the door where it curves outward
it's a small and extremely hard to notice, but to think that it could be chipped there...i'm getting my lip kit asamfp.
