Headlights uneven

Hi, just picked up the EVO last Friday. Everything seems great, but somehow at night, the headlight seems to shoot out uneven distance. The left side beam seems a little closer compare to the right. When looking at the floor, it's very noticeable that there is a ~2ft distance.

here's a ****ty picture I drew to show it Does anyone else experience this problem? I tried adjusting the height (the dial) a few times but it still comes out like this. Should I take it back to the dealer to get it done or is there something I can do myself?

anyways, here's the my EVO. GSR with SSS package, 33,000 OTD

They're supposed to be like that. The cut-off shield inside the projector is shaped with a step in it so that they light up the signs on the right side of the road, but don't blind other drivers coming toward you on the left. Pull up close to a wall at night with the headlights on and you'll see what I mean.

They're also Bi-Xenon projectors, which means when you hit the high beam switch, a solenoid pulls the cut-off shield away and you get a full HID high beam out of the same projector

Here you can see the step in the cut-off line. The projectors on the Evo have a little taller step on the right side.

AFAIK that's normal, it's designed that way so you don't blind incoming cars.

There is an individual height adjustment for each reflector but I don't see an adjustment for left-to-right setting on either headlamp assy. Will have to take off the front bumper cover and investigate

just used the attached file to find the adjustment. rather than using a screwdriver i just used a 5mm socket to adjust the nut. ill have to drive the car tomorrow and see if any further adjustment is needed. thanks for the info
