Is mine the only one? I turned my stereo don't the other day, and I couldn't believe all the noise my MR was making. I sounded like the drive shaft and axle were buckling. That's the best way I could describe it. The care runs great. Is it because its and AWD? I'm new to the EVO...thanks....db

 

you're going to have to be much more descriptive than that if you want some good people to be able to help you with the noise..

yeah i hear that noise too or some type of noise. i chalk it to the awd.

 

Mine makes a almost humming / oscillating noise from around 20mph to about 30mph. I think its the awd? Is that the noise your talking about?

It happens regardless of engine RPM or clutch engagement.

 

My Evo 8 did that, you mean like a whine, likes its winding up or something? It was very annoying, my X doesn't do that though.

 

Hmm... I turn the radio down and all I hear is the sweet sweet sound of my UR exhaust... squeaky Ferodo brake pads... and the occasional screams of my passengers (typically mid apex).
