wow, that's a great deal. A PB MR invoice is 36,900 and the tech package is about 2400. So you essentially got the tech for free with 0% financing. May I ask what your credit score is???

Well I was all set to buy my MR but backed out at the last moment. The biggest reason is my Wife and I would like to buy a house some day and I just couldn't fork over the 6k cash down on the car and then start from scratch again saving for a house. My payments were going to be $549 a month for 60 months at 0%, no money on the trade, 6k cash down and the MR has the technology package and aero kit on it with the MSRP on it $44,xxx.

Do you think it was a good decision? The car is awesome and all but there really isn't anything wrong with my car now which only has 60,000 miles on it and 10k in mods. I also only live .7 miles from work and I don't even drive that much.

Yes.... you made the right decision. Right now, if you have the credit and stable income you should be buying a house (given state of housing market). A house will gain in value in the long run 10 years (cars loose value) and also gives you more buying power down the road to get you an even nicer car. It is always harder to do the "right" thing than the one that you impulsively want. I don't think the car market will be getting any better anytime soon (2 years) so you have plenty of time to get both at great deal. Plus EVO Xs I think are going to depreciate like never before so go house shopping. Get a nice garage for your future rides. Garage's rock, especially ones you put cars in.

GL.

As I calculate, that's about 5000 off sticker. Is that right? ...and 0% on an MR. That sound like a great deal.

Are you adding Pennsylvania's 6% sales tax in your figures??

I think it's a great deal as well, probably one I will never see again but I feel if I have any doubts about getting it probably means I shouldn't get it.

Does anyone know if we can search somewhere and see where all the Evo's are located and what options are available?

I remember when I was getting the STi there was a link posted that showed which dealers had the STi's and how many there were.

You can search each dealership's online inventory. That's about it.

no it doesnt, i also dont belive that it includes holdback, so when dealer is quoting you "invoice", they will bundle in dest. and holdback

Base GSR 31,788 ( invoice, including dest. charges )
Md. sales tax 6% + tags, fees, etc = approximately 33,800.00 - 500.00 loyalty cash 33,300.00

32,200.00 OTD sound good?

hey all...first post and an Evo newb. i'm close to closing on the following:

Evo X GSR
Graphite Gray
SSS Package
Interior Sports Package
sweetener: asked dealer to include a set of snow tires (and keep the stock tires as well)

dealer agreed to:
$31,5xx + TTL (5.5%, ~$120 title/plate transfer fees)

total: ~$33,350

seems like a solid price to me. thoughts?

I have seen a base model GSR in the 27,500 + TTL range... so no, not a good deal IMHO
