EVO X Harness Bar....in the works from AMS

For SEMA and the races that followed we needed to come up with a harness bar solution for our EVO X. I wanted to get you guys some quick pics of what we had come up with. Its very similar in design to our unit for the EVO VIII/IX but obviously made to fit the X. We hope to have this released very soon.

Will this bar be allowed by NASA for HPDE events? I know the require something when it comes to bars...

Also is it removable or safe for back passengers? I can't loose functionality of my back seats for just a bar....

We work with NASA and SCCA so we will try and get this approved.

You can remove this with minimal work if need be.

The guys were working on this today while I was working on a few more things for the X. They were reworking some fitment to make sure that even the largest of Evo X drivers have plenty of legroom before the final release.

Anyone drill through the floor pan to install the sub belt mount for a five point harness? Bar is mostly useless and dangerous unless a five/six point is used. There has been much discussion about four point belts recently in the track world.
