Ummm no they won't. Don't get me wrong, I love my Evo but the seats are just plain horrible. I've had my car for 16,000 miles and they are as tight and uncomfortable as they were 15,000 miles ago. Oh and I am only 5' 8 157lbs so I'm in no way big for the seats.

Thanks for all the feedback everyone BUT I have some bigger issues now. Went to start it up this morning and it was a no go. Car won't start even with a jump. Have a couple warning lights going off as well. On the phone with tow truck right now

Pretty ****ty for a 2 day old car purchased with 13 miles and has 250 now. Hopefully it's just a totally dead battery but I guess I will find out soon....

wow that's odd.

maybe the battery in the keyfob was dead? Did you try and start it with the "real" key (with the fob put on the end)?

^ you can do that with GSRs with teh SSS (which is what the OP has). I've done it when working on my car.

Odd that it wouldn't start even with a jump though.

My car started and shut off this morning even after I had driven it for 20 miles or so. Also the weather has dropped significantly so I was thinking it may be the battery as well.

I liked my Evo 9 seat better. I think the X sits to high. Additionally I am a brother and I weigh 160 or so and find my black *** and thighs to be a little over snug.

Prob got the ones with the bad battery, warranty it or go aftermarket, your not first with a dead battery.

Jump box got it started - let it sit for about 10 minutes drove around for 30 minutes and went to the gym. Came out and it wouldn't start again even with another car trying to jump it. Second time I had to call in for the tow truck to bring out his box.

Battery is toast for sure I will be going in for a new one. Not a huge deal but it sucks getting stranded in a new car.

Our car's come with racing bucket seats, not comfortable leather BMW seats. Deal with it.

To the OP, welcome to the mitsu world and congrats on your new evo. It will definitely be a love/hate relationship.

Other than the stitching, I love these seats. I fit in them like a puzzle piece.

congrats to u 2 for seeing the light and coming to mitsu, but just to comment on ur opinion on the older evos i think the older sti's also had the boy racer look. and i am not a fan of of the sti that replaced the 04's look. and erratic engines????? do explain
Well, out of the three cars only one was an STI. The others were a WRX and a Forester XT. As for the engines, I also found the previous Evo built power in a non-linear way. It seems that the power delivery was too raw and uncontrolled for my tastes.

Just re-read my original post. Note to self, post earlier in the night before the wine and brandy! No offense previous Evo owners.
