'09 Evo's not coming to the U.S.?

Is this just a sales ploy or does it look to be true?

Like I said before, if this is true, then whats up with people already purchasing and posting up pics of them with changes from the 08 models. Like rear lights, steering wheel controls, badging etc???

Those were all international models. No 09 has been purchased in the states

Yeah I understand. I mentioned that in the other thread that I posted in. None the less though, mitsu did create an 09 model. If it doesnt reach the u.s. That blows! but They have made an 09 none the less with changes and small improvements from the look of it. But time will tell to see what truly happens.

They probably want to sell the '08's first since it seems like dealerships are flooded with them.

Yeah, thats what I'm thinking s2kracka. I think mitsu should offer 0% for 72 months and they will sell more. Or the 0% for current 60 months w/ some cash back. I know south coast is already selling them for damn good deals but people still aren't buying :? I wonder how low they will go. If the sells do pick up a little. I think mitsu might release them in the middle of the year next year in the states or so. Anyones guess though.

i think mitsu has learned from their 0% financing fiasco with the eclipse and the introduction of the evo a few years ago, lets not forget.

this is a safe move if it is in fact true, they are still producing Ralliarts though so that covers their "performance" market.

remember, we didn't have an evo in 07 either.

I was gonna call bull**** until I read who posted it. Sam at Southcoast Mitsu. Prolly Mitsu's #1 Evo seller in the country. I bought mine from him, and I sell him parts for his busa. I'll guaranty that the post is straight up no bs. It's at least accurate based on the info he has right now.
Shocking..
I guess that means the '08's will go up in value for a little while, which I personally like

I was actually really looking forward to the 2009 X.. Are they overstocked? I went to my local Mitsu dealer and they had 4 GSR's and 1 MR sitting on the lot
