How many evo x's have been sold in 2008?

I have been wondering how many evo x's have been sold for 2008 in the united states because i have heard some rumors that it has not been selling as well as mitsu thought?? Is there a way to find out how many were sold and how many left over 2008 models are left??? I think its the answer to the question may are asking about the delay of the 2009 evo x.

Last I check, the base lancer sold much better than the old model, which should be expected as its a significant step up. I am not sure about Evo figures though.

I do know that Mitsubishi cars, whichever model & year, are few & far between in England. I Hardly see the new Lancer models, much less the evo when I was there for the later half of 2008.

Should I return, there may be one more evo (an x?) on the road.

There are plenty of Lancers and Evos where I live for the size of my town, but military tend to drive these cars. I would guess 2000 Evos sold for 2008 in the USA.

live here in new mexico and not one evo x have i seen on the road only ran into 2 guys at the mitsu. service shop one with a gsr and the other an mr. both including me are totally stoked about the purchase, times are tough for a lot of people plus lots of folk are uncertain with the evo x cuz the new engine, weight, such and such, hell had absolutely no problems just gonna sit on it for a good little while till i start voiding some warranties just in case something pops up... the only thing i wood say absolutely sucks is the whole paint chipping issue on the wheel well, could be worse i guess?????

i know they are not comming to north america for 2009. Im just curious how many were sold for 08, and how many are left over. A dealer in canada told me they brought about 3000 evo x´s to canada and they only sold about 600 i dont know if its true because he was just a sales guy.

alot of dealerships here in Socal still have many of them sitting in their lots. With the 0% going away Jan 5'th, it'll be much harder to sell them.

Not that many were actually sold, at least around town I have not seen too many. Mitsu probably expected a lot better sales..

It was guesstimated about 2000 evos had been sold on another thread about 3 months ago so I'd probably think that there haven't been more than 2500 '08 X registered sales on the streets.

I'd like to know how many evos were sent to the US in 2008 in total.

I just called Mitsubishi North America, and they are coming to North America. They said production is scheduled for April, and that there will be a 2009 Evolution GSR and MR. Thank you Mitsu!
