Got my 1st ***n ding . I knew this $hit was going to happen the first time I saw how thin the steel was on the doors+fenders. I know
was trying to save some weight by making the steel panels as thin as possible. IMO they should of looked elsewhere for weight savings.. Just my 2 cents..

any you guys know what they will do if i get insurance to fix it? will a body shop have to customly mold the fender back? or does mitsubishi carry rear fenders that they attach to the car?

Could've been worse, it could've been your Viper. heh. Yeah, I got a dent pulled this past Tuesday. Took all of 2 mins to fix at the PDR place. He crammed the tool between the door and door panel around the window opening. It left some white powdery residue. No idea what it might have been. When they massage out the dent with the tool, does it scratch up the metal in the inside? I heard that if it's not done right it can lead to rusting. Some fixes require for them to coat the underside with rust-proofing from what I hear.
