I'm paying $352 every six months, with 100/300 and a $500 deductible. I'm amazed at what some people here have to pay. TG for USAA.

- Michigan (Wayne County --most expensive county in Michigan to insure in because of Detroit)
- 23 years old, male, no tickets or accidents on record
- Citizens Insurance
- $500 deductible
- $850/6mo

But, for some reason the insurance company screwed up this past month because my dad and I have the same name, so he's on the insurance for some reason, and it's only $800/year now. lol. w00t!

I'll say that the X is a lot cheaper then the IX was. My premiums went down so much, its only $10 more per six months when compared to my wife's 06 Honda minivan. I have USAA and its $4XX per six months (don't remember exact number).

493 every 6. I have a discount on that right now since I just signed up but after the first 6 it will only jump up to 512.

Utah must really suck for insurance, or I'm getting raped anally cause I'm 21. My premiums are like $1400/6 months and I ony have 1 $500 parking lot fender bender from 3+ years ago. Clean record otherwise. I calculated it out having a completely clean record and it's still over $1000. Ridiculous.

Whatever...USAA can lick me. I'm a 32yo male with no tickets in the last 10 years, no accidents ever, and excellent credit. USAA was charging me $570/6 mths for my Evo X [full coverage with 1k deductibles] and '98 Civic [state mandated minimums] with 100/300 coverage. And to add insult to injury they were actually going to raise my premium up to $655/6 mths upon renewal a month after I bought my Evo X. I called USAA repeatedly to try to get them to lower my rate to no avail, so I got a quote from Unitrin Direct for $436/6 mths for the EXACT SAME coverage as USAA. It was a no-brainer at that point. I only drive the Evo X on the weekends and since it is garaged, I don't plan on making any claims in the near or distant future, so saving money on useless insurance >>> having a perceived "better" insurance company. Everyone I personally know of who has been turned on to Unitrin Direct has saved literally three to five hundred dollars, or more, a year off of their premiums. Car insurance is the biggest ripoff that I know of, you pay it ALL of your life and you never get that money back, ever.

State farm
I do not have my good driver discount due to one minor fender bender
I am single
I have three vehicles, so I get a discount for the evo
both the evo and truck are considered low mileage vehicles (fewer than 7500mi/year)
motorcycle does not give any additional discounts (i.e. multi-vehicle)
deductibles are $250/500
State Farm does not use my driving record to determine my rates (they haven't pulled an MVR on me since '99)

Evo: $115/mo
Truck: $62/mo
Bike: $15/mo

I've been told policy rates are cheaper when you pay 6 months up front, but I have not verified that...
