I guess some magical vortex seems to form once all windows are down and cruising at highway speeds. After loosing multiple homework assignments out the window i deemed nothing is safe to leave in the car lol. But what happened today really topped it off. I left campus and got lunch. Didn't finish all of the chips so i folded the bag and put them in on the back seat floor out of harms way. Well, so i thought. Cruising down the highway the bag decided it didn't want to be in the car anymore. It moved around the back seat a bit floating around spilling it contents everywhere. Then proceeded to dump the rest of its contents in the front of the car and then floated out the window after almost smacking me in the face.
Now my car is covered with chips.....awesome.
Just a funny story for the weekend. Hope you enjoyed.

Back windows down, get a pressure pulse going on that is very irritating to the ears.

 

i usually leave a plastic grocery bag in the car for garbage and yea it's a wind tunnel. that's why i love my sunroof.

Windows up FTW, saves gas, increases aerodynamics so you can drive faster!

Okay, just kidding, I put my front windows down too, but usually never roll my back ones down, for that same reason. I also always put stuff on the floor or in between the seats that may fly out. And roll up the window as soon as stuff starts "flying" around. But maybe that's skills learned from having a convertible.

 

I had 2 liters of Pepsi in the back seat of the Evo. While braking, the bottle hit something and burst all around... Just noticed yesterday that my ceiling is full of splashes from the pepsi. Damnit.

I usually drive with two windows down - one front and one rear. This seems to introduce positive ventilation w/o the unwanted "magical vortex".

 

The pulsing from the back windows being open is VERY annoying.

Definitely something you can not get used to.

 

Leave the driver's window down, the rear passanger window, down. The other 2 up. Drive around, and then raise and lower the rear passanger seat and u will see the vortex come and go.

This happened to me couple of days ago but it wasn't a bag of chips it was 10 twenty dollar bills. I left the ATM window in a hurry and forgot to close all my window and left my cash on the passenger seat. The windows were not all the way down thank god but I felt like it was in those game show where your trapped inside a glass booth and swatting for cash.

 

^^^swatting for cash - awesome! I had this happen with both rears open partially and the driver's also open. It was a plastic bag but it was going out then in, then out then in, like it was flirting disaster with me (okay, not really disastrous). Not wanting to get caught "littering" I was able to close the window in time.

 

lol my experience with the magical vortex has been somewhat positive in comparison. it throws out all the gas receipts i have sitting around my car lol
