Does the SST on the MR have any problems after a significant amount of miles?

I have 94k on mine it's been driven like crazy. Keep the maintenance up and wash once a week and you will be fine.

I have a 2011 MR and it has gone through one transmission. Changed around 80k. Good luck!

Stock MR's if they last would be the tranny of choice.

That's amazing! I was unfortunately one of the unlucky ones to have both clutch & cmc die at the same time at 40k something miles on my previous X.

I have had my 2014 EVO X GSR for 2 years this month and everything has been fine. I have 35k kilometers on it and just this week while cruising along I got the worst ****ing burnt smell in cabin of my car. I've been off work sick this week so I wasn't driving it for the past 4ish days. Got in it for a drive today and the smell wasn't as harsh but is still horrible and I needed to open all windows to avoid it. Car is running perfect, Temps are fine, clutch still feels brand new and car performs like normal. I'm going to get it checked out but does anyone know what the smell could be coming from? I've never launched my car or tracked it, everything is stock. Should I be concerned?

Thanks for that. Being new to the Evo and reading people talk about their stock clutches going really really early had me scared. Still kind of does.
