I always read my cars' manuals. Although I don't necessarily follow many of their guidelines...my '94 Corolla's manual recommended that the car "not be driven over 50 mph" in the first 500 miles.

First time my car did it I knew exactly what it was and just walked away. My '98 Acura Type R did it all the time during the warmer months.

I don't understand why people don't read their manual. You end up discovering a lot of features you wouldn't know about otherwise.

RTFM

yeah happens on most to all newer cars, no bueno for the car to get super hot on a hot day and then just sit after you turn it off. it wants to cool down

funny thing tho, owned the car for almost a year and yesterday, literally yesterday was the first time it did it! crazyness, anyways car manuals FTW hahaq

i don't know if it's just me but i read the manuals to everything i buy, whenever i have downtime i love finding out new stuff. just got my bb tour a little over a week ago and i read that manual forwards and backwards twice. when i got my x a month and a half ago i read the manual before bed lol. moral of the story is, read your manuals! they're there for a reason.
