50,000 Miles and what I think of my X
OK so you pay 50K for a car.. that price means that you are not buying an econo box, you are paying more for higher quality and better performance.. if mitsu can achieve that then they should cap their offerings at 23K..
Why are kia and hyundia getting better press and better sales and buz?? because they made dramatic improvements in product offering, kept prices low improved marketing quality - all while mitsu was dropping the ball...
After the first fast and furious every one wanted a 99 eclipse and was looking forward to what mitsu was gona do to deliver a new hotter model but mitsu decided that they did not want to be seen as the makes of cool fast hip cars, so they vive us the 2000 ugly heavy none turbo model eclipse..lol years later they realise they are dead to the public so they try to bring the EVO to the front of their roster... Price is too high (public does not understand value of suer fancy AWD system) and to average joe which is who they want to buy, the car looks too similar to the low end lancer
B) The technology comparison between the Evo and the rest of the Kia/Hyundia cars is so incredibly different. I swear, some of you act like the evo doesn't have AYC / AWC / Brembo Brakes / Recaro Seats / 293 HP Turbo'd engine (that can easily be turned into a 320whp engine with just a tune).
I think what you're wanting to compare is the US Galant to these other companies.
I don't think it's mitsubishi's goal to have everyone driving an Evo. In fact I'd definitely prefer everyone doesn't drive an evo. There are way too many idiots out there that drive like complete *******s and would probably kill someone or themselves in an Evo.

Even if I add every possible accessory, the MR only goes up to an MSRP of $46,755 and that is including destination.
Not sure how you're getting that MSRP. I just configured the car (on Mitsubishi's site) and it came out to $43907 with the tech (which includes navigation), aero, and interior bits. MSRP is $44,053 for the car at the dealership so it probably has a little accessory I missed.

awd g37 is cheaper
I am not here to flame the guy if he is disappointed in his car since for 30 or more thousand many of these issues shouldn't even need to be brought up... BUT.... first, your side skirts are an issue i've seen MANY people complain about. They just aren't put on very well. If it were me, I would go to a good body shop, or ask around on here and see what others have done to get them to stay on for good. 50,000 miles and the electrical system seems to be going? Besides the bulbs, what are the other reasons do you have for saying this? I could have missed something since I have been reading all of the other posts and have forgotten some of the things you said, but I wanted to ask if you with that many miles, had you put in a fresh battery? Don't they need replacing about 40,000-60,000 miles sometimes? Just wondering.
"awww man!" i know they suck *****

MSRP is over $44K.
