Most Regrettable Evo Parts Purchases...
Mine was the garrett 3076 bolt on turbo. Was eyeing the red and dom 2 for months and then the 30r came out and with out doing any research just had to be the first to buy it. paid retail of $2k and sat on it for 3 month before installing because of hearing the problems.
Finally threw it on and ran on pump gas untuned for a month and it was a beast.
Then tuned it on e85 and it became more of a beast. 450whp @ 27psi, didn't even get to try 30+psi yet. then the pos wastegate flapper failed (known problem). and now my car sits as a NA lancer. Still havn't had the time to take it off to warranty.

really, REALLY UnTUNED!?!?!? yoru joking right????
I'm 90% sure he just picked a random assortment of Evo words and tossed them into a paragraph. Sometimes it turns into a readable sentence, and other times David Buschur wastegate DG Motors ETS boost lag methanol AEM it just turns into a random string of words.
His macro got lucky.

ok not really untuned, but mildly tuned by me before i got a real tune. the afr were still in check and boost and everything was monitored.

hahahahahaha!
artisan exhaust.... worst piece of junk I've seen in a long time. Had to cut out about 4 inches of the pipe because it stuck out so far. On top of that, the flanges were no where NEAR level... leaked so bad that I went out the first day it was on and bought a v-band and had to cut off the laughable flanges that came on it and put the v-band on. The exhaust hangs so unnecessarily low that it makes me wonder how drunk the engineer behind this piece was. Oh and the welds on it are a joke.

Well I meant the NAV as a whole... the whole MMCS. I'm still up in the air about replacing my unit. One thing I would like to replace is the amp with my JL Audio G6600. But it's just too much work. I think eventually I may rip the whole system out and do my own thing. It's hard going from a pure CDT Audio set up to the factory mitsubishi fosgate set up.
I just wish I could view aux and dvd while driving on it. Also wish I could easily transport my music to it.

I do feel your pain with the maps! I want to get an updated map but Mitsubishi charges and arm and leg for it, plus I'm worried that once they update the MMCS, it will update my firmware and I will no longer be able to play videos while driving.
I actually like the NAV, but then again I CAN view video while driving. As for transporting music to it, I thought it was very easy..then again I'm an IT nerd!

Thats disappointing..thats the second or third time I've heard that about Artisan (hangin to low)...especially as much as that exhaust costs
