It cause the limp mode after the tune usually because the tune wasnt ment for vta and it just screws everything up, and yes your right on the code it throws. Mine threw multiple codes until I went back to stock diverter valve

Megan Racing Headers :

Intended to buy them, but arranged with the seller to first try them out on my Evo.

I had it checked for cracks and all was good so installed. The Evo had 800rpm more lag and car was down on power and torque.
Ripped them off and had my stocker ported and refitted it, way better.

Must say, I did like the way my car sounded with the MR headers on and also the under bonnet bling factor, but other than that it is a POS.

Only once I removed it did I do some checking/measuring.
The piece was badly made, the flange of the headers on the exhaust port side, didn't align correctly with the exhaust ports an blocked them by roughly a third.

Even good parts has a bad side to them. That is why this thread is very intriguing.

the AMS motor mounts are spectacular if you can handle the noise.... really really cleaned up the shifting but yes, it does get alittle crazy with the noise... I had the motor mount kit and it felt like I was getting into a nascar cuz everything vibrated but that engine didn't move thats for sure...

Greddy RS BOV, not necessarily the part just the limp mode issue

AMS front motor mount, WAY too much noise.

The heat shield for the AMS intake, it didn't do a damn thing to stop the idle hesitation with the fan on.

I have taken more aftermarket parts off then I ever imagined, you just don't need much on these except a decent intake exhaust and tune.

A python alarm well not so much the alarm but where i got it installed took them around 10hrs when they said 3 i said i wanted my money back and they said that is fine but they were going to make me pay for the labor, and now i have a alarm that partially works. When i shut my car off the turbo timer kicks in and the alarm wont set until the ****ing timer shuts off!! completely defeats the purpose of the timer!!

No one can be that dumb

I regret buying the JDM ralliart spirit of competition badge... twice! Both times the plastic broke and fell off of it. Now it's not sticking to the car. Very cheaply made.

Agency Power Intake - didnt fit properly and looks like junk.
AMS Intake heatshield - does nothing
Ultimate Racing UICP - didnt like the welding on those

And yet the best mod = is my first one - Greddy Ti-C Exhaust + test pipe.. The best one i've made so far =)
