how many of you here use your EVO X as a daily and only car?
I got mine in March last year and I'm now up to 33000 kms. I do about 150kms per day and the only problem I encountered was a faulty MAF after leaving the car still for a week. Sure it's not the best car for a DD as far as gas consumption goes but I still get between 425-475 kms on a full tank. I think if you follow up on maintenance carefully there shouldn't be any major issues.
425/475kms on a full tank ..... how ?
I can't get more than 300-350kms. Do you ever use the boost, are you getting that driving in the best conditions like slow starts, low rpms shifts ?
I thinking of going for a tune to help my gas consumption.

DD mine, also do 600 mile road trips every couple of months between university and the parents place and the only complaints I have for being a DD is small trunk/tank, crappy fuel economy if not "careful" and a trim piece that just wont stay in its place.
I use my X as a Daily Driver( except its parked in the winter due to not wanting someone who can't drive winter conditions that may smack into it and the only thing I find in the summer is that with the A/C on you lose a bit of power.
I DD mine just as I did with my '06 IX MR. I just got it in December so I still have the stock rubber on it. I manage in light snow so far, but in some of the heavy stuff we've got in the past couple weeks, I just whip out my '08 Wrangler Unlimited(4door) Rubicon.
DD w/ 30,000 miles, only problem so far? 30,000 service. haha. Well that and it got keyed, hit by a tour bus, hit by a drunk driver and the windshield busted out. All 4 things seperate times from June to September. Bad luck I guess. I reckon DDing raises the chances of getting ripped up.
We're on our second evo as a DD and we actually get pretty good gas mileage if you drive somewhat civily. Of course the SSR transmission is a bit more boring but good for commuting on our X MR.
