rear view mirror Evo X MR 2008

Anybody have a solution for the blind spot caused by the rear spoiler which blocks the view of approaching squad cars from the rear?? I am thinking that there must be some sort of rear-view mirror extension (either up or down) that would give a better look rearward. The convex (or concave-whichever) mirrors wouldn't help as it only widens the rear view. Any parts out there for this problem?

If you move your head up or down you can see the blind spot.

I am looking for a solution as well. I like the look of the spoiler, but it is really distracting everytime I look at the rearview mirror. It is the reason I would consider wingless...

Hope someone would provide a solution.

LoL at OP, I have always wondered the same thing but would never hinder my car's performance by removing the wing because of it. I think the problem was even more noticable on my old IX MR w/ wicker bill extension than my X.

delete the rear headrest and install a Smart-Clip Wide Rear View Mirror.

i can see the whole rear and rear sides. give it a try.
