You want it as balanced as you can get it, but when you have variables like fluids which are always changing amounts they do affect how the car will handle.
Don't forget that the fluids are constrained within rigid containers. As such the weight and momentum of the fluid will be transferred to it's container, which is connected to the frame.

Sloshing will create momentary variation to weight distribution within the container.

Consumption would create variation in total mass and create more room for sloshing.

Based on the quanties of fluids in the car and the shapes of the containers, I'd guess that the variability due to sloshing has a negligible impact on handling.

(By the way, humans are mostly water in a container and we slosh in the seat!... something to think about)

i can't believe this thread turned into a "what's the best way to fill the tank up/physics lesson of the day (which was a good refresher btw)" discussion. This is evom guys! I'm thinking to myself "this is great to know, but how do i get that JDM/EDM/AUDM tank so I can hold more meth!

On an evo x?? I didn't have to remove the spare tire cover or carpeting at all.. just pop off the plastic cover (on the backside of the rear seat).

Hey Tephra, in my earlier post about using it to hold meth, I kinda just now realized i was only half joking. Is it possible that you have the partnumber for the AUDM wiper fluid reservoir? RusselM from MitsubishiParts.net may be able to get it for me if he has the right number

ive always know/been told not to use the typical blue windshield washer fluid. always heard the yellow/green fluid has a lower freezing point than the blue.

rain-x bug remover 32* F
rain-x deicer (yellow) ~ -40* F
rain-x deicer (orange) -25* F

I ran mine dry the other night during winter driving and there was no "low level indicator warning" anywhere to be found. That larger capacity tank from the other markets looks perfect for setting up a dual use water injection setup.

I agree, but for me, cost would be the deciding factor. If the part is over $150USD (as I'm sure it will be), I think it's not worth it.

The tank is pretty large too, so you may have to rethink where you can mount the pump for the meth/H20 (if you wanted it near the tank anyhow).

This is the part number for the Australian Domestic Market tank (AUDM)? Tephra posted a pic of it earlier.
