I found this in the morning...
to stop thieves you have to bring your self to their level and think like one! Once you start thinking like a scumbag car thief the better you sleep at night... there are ppl who drives around usually two or three looking for something to do on random nights and break into cars/steal whatever they see on the inside for fun! those ppl are usually young at age and very spontaneous... then you have people who actually know what they are doing, they would scope you out, they study your pattern or routine and hit you up when you least expected... then you got crooks that would just ***** out get a freaking tow truck and take your car and sell it in the chop shop.... You can put the most expensive, high-tech alarm on your car and still get it broken in-to... if they want it that bad.... they'll go for it.. it's almost like a sport to them and kind of like a cheap thrill for them.. I have my car in garage with two German shep's.... they would bark at anyTHING that would go close to my garage.. also, I have a MOSSberg and an good old .45 waiting inside.... peace
my simple passive-aggressive solution: get a concealed weapons permit, make a copy of it, and tape it to the inside of your window when you park it
as long as they can read, they'll likely look for another target. you usually don't even need to own a gun to get the permit.
i used to live in a bad area where someone would try to crowbar my doors open at least twice a week for months. The day i started doing this, no more dented door edges!
^^ this is pretty clsoe to my current setup
a garage, two german shepherds, 6.8SPC AR-15 and a Saiga-12

they should deal with thieves like they do in Middle East. I bet your *** those f@cks would think twice before pulling sh$$t like that. Cops are useless as well. They spend more time writing bullsh$t tickets, than catching thieves.
you know and the saddest thing is most of those guys that try to steal from cars are little pussies. I remember when i was about 12 my dad caught some kid trying to steal my neighbors Subs. dad chased him down, the kid tried to hide in the bushes across the street. the dude was begging please don't call the cop pleeeeeeeeeeaaaaase. ahahah what a lil puss
Unfortunately it is ridiculously hard to get a gun permit in NYC. If you do get one it will only be a premises permit. If you don't own a gun within 30 days of getting the permit it gets revoked. You even need a permit to own a shotgun in NYC.
